Souvlaki or Greek Burger?
Here are two ideas for any party.
Easy, delicious and healthy!
Souvlaki
Ingredients
Greek Goddess Salad Dressing and Marinade
Chicken, beef, or pork loin
Romaine lettuce
Tomatoes
Onion (green, red or sweet)
Green, Red, and/or Orange Peppers
Pita bread
Directions
Cut chunks of pork loin, chicken or beef in 1-1/2 in pieces
Place it in a bowl and pour Greek Goddess Salad Dressing and Marinade over it. Mix. Let it sit in the refrigerator overnight if possible.
Chop romaine, onion (your favorite will work), tomato and green pepper. Add chunks of feta. Mix with Greek Goddess Salad Dressing and Marinade.
When you're ready to cook, place chunks of marinated meat on skewers and cook on the grill, in the broiler or pan fry.
Serve with salad and pita bread. Delicious!!
Greek Goddess Greek Burger
Ingredients
Greek Goddess Seasoning Blend
Greek Goddess Tzatziki Blend
Hamburger
Sour cream
Red onion
Tomatoes
Feta
Rolls
Directions
Mix ground beef with Greek Goddess Seasoning Blend. Form into hamburger patties.
Mix sour cream with Greek Goddess Tzatziki Blend.
Slice tomatoes and onion.
Crumble feta.
Cook hamburgers on the grill, in broiler or pan fry.
Place patty on bottom of roll, layering tomato, onion, feta crumbles and a spoonful of tzatziki mixture.
